Dayna Cassandra DDS
A dentist for over 20 years, Dr. Dayna Cassandra’s journey in dentistry began as a young patient at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dentistry. Inspired by her experiences, she pursued her passion and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree there.
Reflecting on her career, Dr. Cassandra says, “I was born to be a dentist; I just had to go to school to get my license.”
After completing a competitive residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Dr. Cassandra practiced dentistry for several years, building strong patient relationships across Manhattan and New Jersey. Her dedication to the field led her to the prestigious Pankey Institute, where she developed her knowledge, skill, and expertise in advanced restorative dentistry. With a clear vision of patient-centered care and a commitment to excellence, she established her own practice in Paramus, New Jersey. This central location allowed her to continue serving long-time patients while welcoming new ones from New York, New Jersey, and beyond—patients who choose to invest in their health and confidence.”
“It's my role to help my patients see the possibilities that exist for them - to give them the freedom to face the world with the confidence and personal power that comes from optimal health and beauty,” she explains. Dr. Cassandra believes that investing in oneself has a tremendous impact on self-worth, and that a healthy, well-functioning smile enhances her patients’ overall quality of life.
Dr. Cassandra has a passion for rehabilitative dentistry “I enjoy the process of uncovering the reasons why a smile is changing, and how I can restore or rejuvenate it for both proper function and beautiful aesthetics,” she says. Always at the forefront of her field, Dr. Cassandra embraces modern workflows and digital designs, while integrating them with proven principles and techniques. As a faculty member at Spear Education and a member of Solventum's (3M) Council for Innovative Dentistry, she contributes to advancements in dental technology and materials.
Dr. Cassandra has built a dynamic team of dedicated and knowledgeable dental professionals who are aligned by the core values of integrity, authenticity, trust, and responsibility. Her general practice focuses on advanced restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, and esthetics. While Dr. Cassandra takes the lead on the more comprehensive restorative treatment, her associates provide a range of dental procedures. The doctors and team take a collaborative approach, ensuring the highest quality dentistry that ultimately leads to an improvement in overall health and lifestyle.
Dr Cassandra and her team are committed to bridge the gap between medicine and dentistry and welcome patients from Bergen and Rockland counties, Manhattan, and other parts of New York, who seek optimal health and wellness.
Despite running a thriving practice, Dr. Cassandra continues to give back to her community. She is involved with Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative and Dental Lifeline and is an active member of many service organizations in the community. Recognized for her humanitarian efforts, Dr. Cassandra is the proud recipient of the Paramus Rotary Club’s “Humanitarian of the Year” award for her work with the “Gift of Life” program. As a founding member of the Paramus UNICO Club, she continues to look for opportunities to give back to the community that has supported her from the start.
Dentistry has been Dr. Cassandra’s lifelong dream, and she takes immense pride in her journey, her practice, and the opportunity to care for others. As she beautifully sums it up….“We do small things with great love”.
